Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FableFile LLC. ("FableFile," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit or buy from fablefile.com (the "Site"). It covers the Site only. It does not cover our Etsy shop, Amazon KDP books, or any other marketplace. If you buy FableFile products there, that platform's privacy policy applies to that purchase. It also does not cover our social media pages, which are governed by those platforms' policies (see Section 4).

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Order details: name, email address, billing address, and order history.
• Payment details: these are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe. FableFile never sees or stores your full card number.
• No accounts: the Site does not offer customer accounts or logins, so we do not collect or store passwords.
• Newsletter and free-download sign-ups: your email address and, if you provide it, your first name. This includes any free downloads offered in exchange for joining our email list.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or through a contact form.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: our website host and analytics tool (Cloudflare) process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, and approximate country or region. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits without cookies and without building a profile of you across other websites.
• Cookies: the Site itself does not set shopping-cart, login, analytics, or advertising cookies. Stripe sets cookies on its checkout pages (see Section 5).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as government ID numbers, health information, or precise geolocation.

2. How we use your information

• Process orders, deliver your digital downloads (including emailing download links and providing your order page), and send receipts.
• Provide customer support and respond to requests, including with AI-assisted tools (see Section 3A).
• Send newsletters and offers only if you opt in (see Section 6).
• Understand how the Site is used and improve it.
• Prevent fraud, protect the Site, and keep it secure.
• Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations (including calculating sales tax where required).

3. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed for them to provide their services:

Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it either.

3A. AI-assisted customer support

We use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help us read and draft replies to customer messages. A person at FableFile reviews and approves replies before they are sent. To do this, the content of your message and related order details (such as your name, email address, and order number) may be processed by our AI service providers. We use these providers only to run our business, we do not ask them to use your information to train their AI models where that option is available to us, and we avoid sharing payment card details with them. If you prefer that your message not be processed with AI tools, say so in your message and we will handle it manually.

4. Third-party tracking

We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking cookies on the Site. Our analytics tool, Cloudflare Web Analytics, is cookieless and does not track you across other websites. Stripe may use cookies and fraud-prevention tools on its checkout pages (see Section 5).

Social media. FableFile has pages on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook. The Site may include social sharing buttons, embedded posts, or links to those pages. If you click or interact with them, or are logged in to those services, Meta (Instagram and Facebook) and Pinterest may receive information about your visit under their own privacy policies. When you follow, message, or comment on our social pages, those platforms' policies apply, and we can see the information you make available there.

5. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. The Site itself does not use cookies for shopping carts, logins, analytics, or advertising. We do not offer customer accounts, and our analytics tool, Cloudflare Web Analytics, measures traffic without cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may occasionally set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the Site from bots and attacks.

When you check out, you are taken to Stripe Checkout, where Stripe uses cookies and fraud-prevention tools to process your payment securely. Those tools are controlled by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block Stripe's cookies, checkout may not work.

6. Email newsletter and free downloads

Joining our newsletter is optional. We send marketing emails only if you opt in. Some free downloads may be offered in exchange for joining our email list. The sign-up form will say so clearly before you submit it. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we will honor unsubscribe requests promptly. You can also email us to unsubscribe. Even after you unsubscribe, we may still send emails about your orders (such as receipts and download links). Our marketing emails identify FableFile as the sender and include a business mailing address (never a personal home address).

7. Do Not Track signals

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to DNT, so the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. The Site does not use cross-site tracking cookies or advertising pixels (see Sections 4 and 5).

8. Reviewing and changing your information

The Site does not have customer accounts. To access, correct, or delete your information, email tj@fablefile.com to:

• ask what personal information we have about you,
• request a correction, or
• request deletion (except information we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons).

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. Contact us and we will respond as required by the law that applies to you.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order and transaction records are generally kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (often several years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

10. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your information. Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant processor (Stripe). Download links are signed, time-limited links that work a limited number of times. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some products (such as coloring pages or party games) may be meant for families, but purchases must be made by an adult. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International visitors

FableFile is based in the United States. Purchases on the Site are currently limited to customers with U.S. billing addresses. Our service providers may process information in the U.S. and other countries. If you visit from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Effective date" above. If we make material changes, we may also notify you by email or with a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the update means you accept the revised policy.
