This License explains how you may use digital products bought or downloaded for free from fablefile.com ("Products"), including any free email sign-up downloads. Products bought on Etsy or Amazon are covered by the license terms in that listing and that platform's terms. The licensor is FableFile LLC. ("FableFile," "we," "us"). When you buy a Product, you receive a license to use it. You do not buy ownership of the design or the copyright. By downloading or using a Product, you agree to this License and our Terms of Service.
Product listings come first: If a product listing gives different or additional terms (for example, an extended commercial license), the listing's terms control where they conflict with this License.
1. Personal Use License (applies to all Products by default)
You may: - download, print, and use the Product for your own personal, non-commercial use, such as your home, planner, family party, or personal projects; - print as many copies as you need for that personal use; - give a printed item as a personal gift (not for sale); - use coloring pages and party games at your own events, classroom, or household. You may print copies for one classroom or one private event you host.
2. Templates, brushes, and stencils: making end products
For Canva templates, Procreate/Photoshop brushes, and stencil/SVG cut files, you may also use the Product as a tool to create your own finished end products, including physical end products you sell.
Examples that are allowed: - Customizing a Canva template for your own event, business, or social media. - Making artwork with our brushes and selling prints of your own artwork. - Cutting our SVG stencils on your Cricut or Silhouette to make shirts, mugs, signs, or decals, and selling those physical items in small handmade quantities.
Examples that are not allowed: - Selling, sharing, or giving away the template, brush, or SVG file itself, in original or modified form. - Selling an editable template (or a "template made from our template"). - Selling digital files, print-on-demand designs, or clip art where our design is the main feature, unless the product listing says this is allowed.
Wall art, planners, printables, and coloring pages are personal use only unless the product listing says otherwise.
3. What you may not do (all Products)
- No resale or redistribution: Do not sell, share, upload, email, or give away the digital files, in original or modified form, including in bundles, file-sharing sites, shared drives, or group buys.
- No claiming it as your own: Do not claim the design as your own original work, or register it as a trademark or copyright.
- No AI/ML use: Do not use any Product, in whole or in part, in a dataset for artificial intelligence or machine learning, or to train, fine-tune, or prompt-reference an AI model.
- No transfer: This License is personal to the buyer and cannot be transferred, sublicensed, or resold.
- No unlawful or harmful use: Do not use Products in a way that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or infringes anyone's rights.
4. Third-party software
Some Products are made for third-party software or devices (such as Canva, Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, GoodNotes, Cricut, or Silhouette). Your use of that software is subject to its own terms. For example, any Canva stock elements in a template are covered by Canva's license. FableFile is not affiliated with these companies.
5. AI-assisted designs
Some designs are created with the help of AI tools and edited by FableFile. These designs may not be unique, and FableFile makes no claim of exclusivity for them. See our Terms of Service for details.
6. Ownership
FableFile (or its licensors) keeps all rights, title, and ownership of the Products and designs. Any rights not expressly granted in this License are reserved.
7. Termination
This License ends automatically if you break any of its terms. If that happens, you must stop using the Product and delete all copies of the files. End products you lawfully made and sold before termination are not affected.
8. Warranty disclaimer
PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. If a file is faulty or not as described, see our Refund Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, FABLEFILE'S TOTAL LIABILITY RELATED TO ANY PRODUCT OR THIS LICENSE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT PRODUCT, AND FABLEFILE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
10. Governing law
This License is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona.
